In Krasnoyarsk on the streets of January 9 and Kaatanov besides Self -building work this summer will also carry out a major overhaul of communal networks located under the roads and sidewalks. This was reported in the city hall.

Large diameters – 500 and 125 mm, run on Karatanov. Old steel and cast -iron pipes will be replaced by modern polyethylene. The pipes will also change, through which cold water is supplied to four residential buildings, as well as shut -off valves and fire hydrants. In total, it is planned to update 746 meters of water supply networks.
On January 9, 450 meters of main water supply pipelines with a diameter of 100 to 200 mm will be replaced.
Recall that in the central part of Krasnoyarsk, on the eve of the 400th anniversary of the city, it is planned to improve 15 so-called transverse streets. This year, work will be carried out at the first four: Perenson, Dzerzhinsky, Karatanov and January 9th.
Currently, improvement is underway In the pedestrian part – old coatings and on -board stones were dismantled there. On the streets of January and Karatanov, since they are in a special historical zone, archaeologists are now working.
Work on the networks will begin approximately in late June. After them, the base and coverage of the road and sidewalks will be restored.
“After the improvement, convenient sidewalks will appear, divided into functional zones, new lighting, trees, hedges, video surveillance, street furniture and so on. The style of improvement of streets will be one. Under individual contracts, asphalt concrete coating of the carriageway will also be updated, ”the city hall said.
