The US president on Sunday appeared on Sunday the decision of his administration to prohibit the registration of foreign students at Harvard University.

Why doesn't Harvard say that almost 31% of his students come from foreign countries and yet these countries, some not at all friendly to the United States, do not pay anything for their students' education and do not intend to do so? ”Wrote Donald Trump on Sunday, on his Social Truth platform, according to Agerpres.

“We want to know who these foreign students are, a reasonable demand, given that we give Harvard billions of dollars, but Harvard is not transparent,” he added. He also asked the University to “stop asking” money to the federal government.

The US Department for Internal Security announced on Thursday the immediate revocation of the certification of the program for foreign students and visitors of the Harvard University, a decision after which this university can no longer enroll foreign students.

On Friday, a judge issued a temporary restriction order that blocks the Trump administration plan to revoke Harvard University to enroll foreign students, according to the BBC.

The decision was taken under the conditions in which Harvard filed a trial on Friday to challenge the US government's decision to deprive the university's prestigious university to enroll foreign students. The representatives of the educational institution claim that the measure represents a “flagrant violation” of the law and the right to freedom of expression.
