Six people were sentenced to up to eight years in prison in Paris, accused of robbing in the capital of the American celebrity Kim Kardashian in 2016 in the French capital. The French media called the convicted “gang of grandparents” because during the assault most of them were over 60 years old.

A total of 10 people sat on the bench, of which two were acquitted and two sentenced to fines.
For eight years in prison, the “brain of surgery” 69-year-old Aomar Ait Khedache was sentenced, which is currently deaf and practically silent. He was completed with his five years behind the bars. After seven years in prison, they got 69-year-old Didier Dubreucq, 71-year-old Yunice Abbas and 35-year-old Marc-Alexandre Boyer.
The son of Khedache, Harmina, was sentenced to five years in prison, including one year suspended, and Cathy Glotin, his ex -partner, received a judgment of four years in prison suspended.
At the beginning of October 2016, armed men invaded the residence where Kardashian stayed during a visit to the French capital. The attackers tied and gagged the woman, then stole her jewelry worth about EUR 9 million. (PAP)
