What Nicușor Dan said about a possible visit by Netanyahu to Romania

On May 8, during an electoral debate, Nicușor Dan stated that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will not pay a visit to Romania.

He added that our country must have a “normal relationship” with Israel.

“It will never happen how much this decision exists for Prime Minister Netanyahu to come to Romania,” said Nicușor Dan, at that time, referring to the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (CPI) on behalf of the Israeli government's head of the Israeli army in the Gaza strip. CPI accuses Netanyahu of war crimes.

After the victory of May 18 of Nicușor Dan, the Israeli publication Haaretz published an analysis in which he criticizes Benjamin Netanyahu and his party, Likud. “Netanyahu and his government bet on the far anti -Semitic right in Romania and lost a lot,” Title Haaretz.
