On Thursday, the Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General Adam Bodnar announced that the authorities of the United Arab Emirates agreed to the extradition of 34-year-old Sebastian Majtczak. The man is suspected of causing a fatal accident in which a family of three died.
– He will be stopped. Then, when this happens, we will take it immediately. Because he was in this procedure of extradition in freedom mode, they must stop it now. This cannot be performed by Polish law enforcement agencies, only Emirates – Deputy Minister of the Interior and Administration Czesław Mroczek said on Tuesday in an interview with RMF FM.
In his opinion, the panties “will be detained quite quickly by the Emirates' services.” – Then we are ready to take over him immediately – assured the deputy head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration.
Sebastian Mattczak's extradition. The police issued a statement
In connection with numerous questions of journalists regarding the extradition of the panties, the police decided to issue an official statement. “We would like to kindly inform you that immediately after the approval of the decision of the ZEA Supreme Court by the Minister of Justice Zea, Polish police officers made contact with the ZEA services in order to provide information about the need to immediately detain Sebastian M.” – we read on Platform X.
The police pointed out that due to the fact that the panties in the UAA was not at the disposal of the law enforcement agencies, before extradition to Poland it is necessary to stop it earlier. Until now, the Polish organs have not received information about the detention of Mantczak in the UAE.
“Immediately after receiving information about the possibility of extradition from the Polish Ministry of Justice or sending it to the Office of International Police Cooperation KGP, Polish policemen will do everything to bring Sebastian M. to Poland as soon as possible and put the prosecutor's office” – the police added.
