Yet. Donald Trump will not fly to talks about Ukraine

Trump himself said on Monday that it is possible that he would go to Turkey, “if he thinks it would be helpful.” On Tuesday, however, the White House announced that the Russian-Ukrainian talks to Istanbul would go to the Secretary of State Marco Rubio and special envoys, Steve Witkoff and Keith Kellogg.
On Wednesday, the President of Ukraine Wołodymyr Zelnski expressed hope for Trump's arrival in Turkey. “I am waiting for who will come from Russia, then I will determine what steps Ukraine should take. Signals from them in the media are ambiguous for now, but we also hear that President Trump is considering coming to Turkey. So this can be the strongest argument. This week can really change a lot” – said Zelanski in an evening recording.
Soon after, the Kremlin announced that Vladimir Putin would not be in Istanbul. Vladimir Medinski, Putin's adviser, is to head at the head of the Russian delegation. The deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Michail Gałuzin, Deputy Minister of Defense Aleksandr Fomin and the head of the Main Board of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia, Admiral Igor Kostiukov, also go to Turkey.
Trump is currently on a four -day journey around the Middle East.
