Russia announced on Wednesday the members of the delegation that will go to Istanbul on Thursday for direct negotiations with the Ukrainians, without mentioning the name of President Vladimir Putin, who was invited to move there by his Ukrainian counterpart Volodimir Zelenski.

According to the list published by Kremlin, the Russian delegation will be led by the presidential counselor Vladimir Medinski, the Foreign Deputy Minister Mihail Galuzin and the Deputy Prime Minister of Alexander Fomin, AFP reports.
At the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations that will take place on Thursday in Istanbul, political and technical issues will be addressed, the Foreign Policy counselor of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Iuri Usakov, said, notes the EFE agency.
