Siepomaga Foundation’s Finances Under Scrutiny as Owners Profit

An investigation by tvn24.pl into the financial structure of the Siepomaga Foundation has unveiled significant figures, indicating that over 564 million PLN flowed into the organization in 2025. The foundation, led by Patryk and Monika Urban, is linked to Fundigic, a company co-owned by the couple that provides operational and software services to Siepomaga.

In the last three years, the Urban couple has reportedly received dividends exceeding 23 million PLN from Fundigic, which generated nearly 25 million PLN in net income in 2025 alone. Fundigic, previously known as Siepomaga sp. z o.o., offers a range of IT, accounting, administrative, and financial services. According to tvn24.pl, the company reported revenues of 65 million PLN, with 51.2 million PLN attributed to licensing sales. The cost of producing and supporting these licenses was approximately 23.7 million PLN, making this spread a primary source of profit.

In addition to dividends, the Urbans earn salaries from both the foundation and Fundigic. Patryk Urban reportedly garnered nearly 3 million PLN in management contracts with Fundigic from 2023 to 2025, while previous reports indicated his salary was 593,000 PLN in 2022, and Monika Urban earned 420,000 PLN. In 2025, the foundation’s three-member board received a total of 581,000 PLN in gross remuneration.

Siepomaga typically charges a standard commission of 6% on donations for its campaigns, which translates to 94 PLN going to the specified cause and 6 PLN retained by the foundation for every 100 PLN donated. Fundigic also generates revenue from licensing fees, which Patryk Urban claims have ranged from 3.2% to 9% of the donation amounts from 2022 to 2025, excluding certain campaigns. He has stated that these rates align with the market range of 3% to 10%, reflecting the software’s development growth, though he did not disclose the exact amount paid by the foundation for licensing.

In 2025, the profit margin on licensing sales surpassed 50%. Fundigic has also invested over 9.8 million PLN in precious metals since 2020, with long-term investments exceeding 24 million PLN. The company has made luxury vehicle purchases, including Mercedes cars costing 411,000 PLN and 245,000 PLN, as well as a Hyundai for 222,000 PLN.

Experts have raised concerns about a potential conflict of interest, given that the Urbans manage the foundation while profiting as owners of the service-providing company. The report notes that as leaders of the foundation, they should pursue the lowest possible licensing costs, yet as shareholders in Fundigic, they have an interest in maximizing company profits. The National Institute of Freedom conducted a review of the foundation’s contracts with Fundigic and found no irregularities in the provided documentation. However, the audit focused on the foundation’s expenditures rather than the company’s profits or the owners’ dividends.

The operational model of Siepomaga contrasts with that of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP). While both organizations utilize companies, they differ in ownership structure and profit distribution. WOŚP’s company, Złoty Melon, is owned by the foundation, ensuring that profits remain within the organization’s framework. In contrast, Fundigic is owned by private shareholders, including Patryk and Monika Urban, who receive dividends from its profits.
