Zelensky Calls Putin the True Evil of Our Time
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has labeled Russian President Vladimir Putin as the “true evil of our time,” expressing disbelief over former U.S. President Donald Trump’s friendship with him. Zelensky stated, “It is a mistake to be friendly with a figure like Putin.” He also emphasized the growing threat posed by Iran, which possesses missiles and drones with ranges exceeding 4,000 kilometers. Zelensky pointed out that European nations currently lack the capability to launch a large-scale counterattack or defend against thousands of such drones.
In his remarks, Zelensky challenged the notion that he would remain in power indefinitely, asserting, “I am not sitting in this chair claiming that I will be president for many years. No. Never.” He raised concerns about potential agreements regarding diesel fuel that could silence Ukraine on the battlefield and hinder responses to attacks, warning, “If such a deal forces Ukraine to remain silent, the question arises: when will the next deal come? Today it’s diesel; tomorrow it could be gas.”
