U.S. and Europe Propose Peace Agreement with Territorial Adjustments for Ukraine
The United States and European nations are formulating a peace agreement aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict involving Ukraine and Russia. This proposal outlines four key elements crucial for achieving an end to hostilities.
First, the plan includes provisions for the reconstruction of Ukraine and compensation for those affected by the war. Second, it offers security guarantees for Ukraine aligned with NATO’s Article 5. Third, there is an emphasis on establishing an energy agreement among Russia, Ukraine, and European partners. Finally, the initiative calls for a cessation of military activities along the front line, alongside a potential lifting of sanctions.
