Mircea Bravo’s Post Sparks Controversy Over FCSB and Steaua Identity

Today, on the day of his new film’s release, comedian Mircea Bravo shared a photograph alongside Lenuța Moldovan, his cinematic partner, and Gigi Becali, the owner of FCSB. His caption, “Bunica, din vară la Steaua!”, raised eyebrows and angered officials at CSA Steaua București.
The post garnered tens of thousands of likes on social media, showcasing the actor in front of what appears to be a church with “Bunica” Lenuța Moldovan and Gigi Becali.
CSA Steaua Responds: “SC FC FCSB SA is Not Steaua!”
Bravo’s statement about his grandmother’s visit to Steaua sparked a strong reaction from the club, which is affiliated with the Ministry of National Defense (MApN) and has won numerous identity disputes against FCSB in recent years.
In a firm comment on Bravo’s Facebook post, the Army Club stated: “Mr. Mircea Bravo, we kindly ask you to make a clear distinction between Steaua București and SC FC FCSB SA. The individual in the image (i.e., Gigi Becali) has no connection with Steaua.”
The club requested that Bravo amend his post to avoid creating confusion among fans and the general public, emphasizing that “SC FC FCSB SA is not Steaua!”
In a humorous reply, the actor dismissed the club’s request, stating, “Due to a lack of agreement with Mr. Becali, my grandmother will come to Steaua, not to FCSB. Will you accept her?” Many of Bravo’s followers criticized his association with the controversial FCSB owner. Nevertheless, the post’s attention appears to have achieved its purpose, garnering significant reactions and views on the day of his film’s premiere.
