Drone Detected Near Danish Defense Minister’s Home in Soborg

A drone was discovered near the home of Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund in Soborg this morning, leading to a significant police presence in the area. Lund reported that the police were investigating the situation, which he noted is standard procedure following such incidents.
The defense chief clarified that the drone in question is believed to be an amateur one. Local Danish media, Presse-fotos.dk, indicated that both police and military bomb disposal units were deployed to the site, creating a secure perimeter around the area.
As of now, the authorities have not disclosed any information regarding the drone’s origins.

- In September 2025, several local airports in Denmark temporarily halted operations due to unidentified drones. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen stated that Russia poses a significant threat to European security and mentioned that Denmark is receiving assistance from Ukraine in countering drone attacks.
