Tauron has launched a distribution tariff comparison.

The online distribution tariff for individual clients was launched by Tauron Dystrybucja. The tool is to help in choosing one of the five tariffs – from universal to enabling consumption management depending on dynamic prices.

As reported by the company in a press release, the tariff comparison engine on the website cheap.tauron-dystrybucja.pl is based on typical energy consumption models in three variants: in apartments, single-family houses and for charging electric cars.

It is required to provide annual electricity consumption (the system suggests the consumption of typical households), with the possibility of declaration of using a heat pump and solar pump.

After adding the electricity price of the seller, which is paid by the customer, the system counts these data with distribution fees and presents the sum of payments in the available Tauron distribution groups.

“We have launched a tariff comparison machine for customers so that they can check which tariffs are best for them and on which they will be able to save, depending on their wear profile” – noted the company's vice president of the company Marcin Marzyński cited in the information.

He noted that the comparison engine also provides the main information about the five tariffs offered: G11, G12, G12W, G13 and G14D. The universal G11 tariff is most often chosen, which does not require energy consumption management or adaptation of consumer habits to tariff zones.

Other tariffs require more conscious consumption management. Tauron distribution indicates that using them – even with slight changes in habits and conscious decisions – can contribute to reducing energy costs.

For some time, the company has been offering, among others G14D tariff – the first dynamic tariff in Poland, which can translate into environmental needs and the work of the national power system.

It is a tariff group with four -zone settlement (zones: recommended use, normal use, recommended saving, required limitation), in which time zones are variable and in line with the zones published by Polish electricity networks on the energy website at Energetycznykompas.pl.

“We know that customers expect from us not only reliable power supply, but also simple and understandable bills and effective operation of their affairs” – commented the vice president. “So it is to be cheaper, it should be more convenient and is to be online – such expectations are managed by customers at our address,” he pointed out.

The tariff comparison website is to be one of the first tools of the company supporting customers in energy consumption management and cost optimization.

“We are also developing new functionalities and the Elicznik application, which additionally helps clients monitor their actual power consumption” – signaled Marcin Marzyński.

Tauron Dystrybucja operates in the area of ​​southern voivodships: Lower Silesia, Opolskie, Silesia, Lesser Poland and partly Podkarpackie, in the area of ​​over 57,000 sq m, i.e. 18.3 percent Polish area. Provides electricity supply for nearly 6 million customers. (PAP)
