As for Alvarez, the Atletico Madrid player has expressed a desire to join Barcelona, prompting heavy booing from fans during a recent match where Atletico drew 2-2 with Villarreal. Fans chanted, “Tell him to leave, once and for all!”
This situation might encourage Atletico’s management to recognize the fans’ lack of support for Julian Alvarez. However, the club currently asserts that he is not transferable and that any team interested in him must meet his €500 million release clause.
