In a commanding performance, Dinamo triumphed over FC Voluntari with a score of 4-0, highlighted by Adrian Mazilu’s first goal for the team. The 20-year-old winger found the net during stoppage time, marking a significant milestone after nearly three years without a goal.
Mazilu, who came on as a substitute in the 68th minute, expressed relief and joy over the moment, especially after the goal was confirmed by VAR. “If Mister hadn’t put me in, I don’t think I would have scored this goal,” he remarked with a smile.

Reflecting on the match, Mazilu noted, “We played well. It was a spectacular game with many goals, and I hope we can continue this trend in every match.” He acknowledged the importance of his recent goal-scoring drought and praised the support and confidence he received from coach Nuno Campos.
“It’s a very pleasant feeling. It doesn’t matter that I scored in the last minute or against Voluntari. I’m very happy for this year, and I hope to keep it going. I’m grateful to Mister for the trust he has given me; without his support, I might not have scored,” he added.
Mazilu further emphasized the team’s stronger bond and synergy, which has translated into better performances on the field. He believes that as he earns more playing time through hard work in training, the team will continue to benefit from improved cohesion.
Looking ahead, Dinamo is focused on their upcoming derby against Rapid. Mazilu anticipates an exciting match at Giulești, expressing confidence in his team’s ability to assert their style of play. “Yes, we’re playing at their home ground; it will be a spectacular match. We aim to impose our game, and we’re not intimidated by this challenge,” he stated.
He also provided an update on teammate Pascual, who experienced an injury during the match. “We were concerned when he got hurt. From my perspective, he’s okay; he seems a bit dizzy, but I spoke with him in the locker room, and he’s feeling fine. Everything is under control,” Mazilu reassured fans.
