In a peculiar act of defiance, an officer from the FSB has been caught on video popping blue and yellow balloons that are hung daily near the Russian Embassy in Canada. A user who shared the video remarked, “He doesn’t like pretty balloons. We hang them daily. Every day he pops them.” This amusing interaction has attracted the attention of many, including journalist Christo Grozev.
Grozev identified the officer in question as Ivan Danilenkov, a member of the FSB. According to Grozev, Danilenkov was born on May 6, 1992, and previously served in the border service of the FSB. Currently, he holds the position of a duty officer at the Russian Embassy in Canada.
