In the Solomyanskyi district, two people lost their lives, while eight others were injured, among them two children. Partial destruction of a five-story residential building was reported, alongside vehicle fires at a parking lot. Emergency teams admitted three individuals to the hospital and evacuated 35 residents from upper floors, successfully extinguishing the fires.
The Darnytskyi district faced significant devastation, with fires affecting an administrative building and a non-residential structure. Another site experienced vehicle blazes and damage to nearby homes. Tragically, seven fatalities were confirmed here, with 14 others injured, including two children. Firefighters worked diligently to extinguish the flames, and a crater was found in a public park. Multiple hot spots along a street were also reported.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a fire broke out in a non-residential building and affected ambulances, although it was contained. One injured person was identified at another location, and a fire at a film studio was also managed.
The Dniprovskyi district reported damage to a store, while four private homes and utility structures were impacted in the Pecherskyi district.
Rescue teams and relevant services are actively working on-site to assess the situation, with details regarding casualties being updated. As of 7:41 AM, the mayor, Vitali Klitschko, stated that 28 people had sustained injuries, including four children.
