Investigation Launched into Missing Billions Allocated for IDP Support

The Ukrainian Parliamentary Commission has initiated an investigation into the allocation of more than 313 billion UAH set aside since 2022 for supporting internally displaced persons (IDPs). According to Serhiy Kozyr, the head of the Commission overseeing IDP affairs, it appears that only the housing assistance program is currently operational. Kozyr emphasized the need for a comprehensive audit of the expenditures and the functioning of regional military administrations. He raised critical questions about the usage of the allocated funds, stating, “What exactly has been spent from the 313 billion Hryvnias? We need transparency regarding the amounts and their specific destinations, as well as how these funds are utilized. Only then can we draw conclusions.”
