Solovyov Accuses Ksenia Sobchak’s Family of Betrayal Amid Leaked Messages

Yevgeny Solovyov has made serious allegations against the Sobchak family, claiming they have “betrayed” their country. This assertion follows the release of previously published fragments of correspondence attributed to Russian journalist Ksenia Sobchak.
In response to comments made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which suggested that individuals close to Russian President Vladimir Putin support Kyiv’s desire to end the war, Solovyov speculated that such information could have been relayed through contacts mentioned in the leaked messages.
He further accused Sobchak and her mother, Senator Lyudmila Narusova, of operating in the interests of “foreign agents,” supporters of the late opposition figure Alexei Navalny, and entities purportedly linked to foreign intelligence services. However, he noted that he would only draw such conclusions if the published messages and conversations are authentic.
“What other information have they collected and passed on? Who else among our country’s leaders are they serving? What orders have they executed? From whom did they receive these? What does it mean that ‘there is someone in the close circle’? Is this a conspiracy?” Solovyov questioned.
Moreover, he expressed that the Sobchak family has “chosen the path of betrayal,” despite his assertion that they should have been grateful for the support they received throughout their lives.
Previously, reports surfaced online featuring excerpts of conversations attributed to Sobchak. Potential interlocutors included figures from the Russian government, media, and the Ukrainian side, such as the editor-in-chief of “Ostorozhno, Novosti” Sergey Titov, Kremlin’s primary contractor in Telegram Kristina Potupchik, and former head of the Ukrainian presidential office Andriy Yermak. Sobchak has denied the authenticity of these materials, labeling them as “fakes” intended to discredit her and her media project.
