The Ukrainian Armed Forces have established a new Long-Range Command aimed at conducting strikes against Russia. President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that the commander of this unit will be highly experienced and capable. Alongside this, a decree has been signed to form Joint Rapid Reaction Forces, intended to enhance the military’s operational capabilities.
This new command will integrate the combat readiness of assault troops, essential drone components, necessary artillery assets, and other resources for quick responses on the front lines. General Dmytro Voloshyn, a Hero of Ukraine and the commander of the 8th Airborne Assault Corps, has been appointed to lead this initiative.
