Zelenski Announces New Ukrainian Drone Strikes on Russian Refinery

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski announced on Saturday that Ukrainian drones have successfully targeted a refinery in the Russian region of Tyumen, located more than 2,000 kilometers from Ukraine. According to Zelenski, Ukraine has developed a new model of drone capable of operating at distances exceeding 3,000 kilometers.

In his regular evening address, Zelenski expressed gratitude to the military personnel involved in special operations, highlighting their reach into Tyumen, including the successful strike on the oil refinery.

The President noted that the newly upgraded long-range drones have been effectively utilized. “They can hit targets at a distance of 3,000 kilometers. This is a fully justified response to Russian attacks against our country. Ukraine’s plan for long-range operations is currently being implemented,” Zelenski stated.
