Florin Bratu (46 years old) is very close to a new career challenge. His former coach Dinamo reached an agreement in principle with FK Partisans Tiranaa team that finished last season in 5th place in the Albanian championship.
If the move goes through, it will be his second experience Arm abroad, after the one in 2023, when he trained Karmiotissa, in Cyprus.
The last team coached by Bratu was Metaloglobus. The technician took over the Bucharest team at the beginning of the spring, but was unable to save it from relegation, the team ending the season in last place and returning to League 2.
The parties have already reached an agreement, and the official presentation is expected in the next period, according to the Albanian publication gazetatema.net.
Florin Bratu will coach Partizani, a team from Albania
Albanian journalists claim that Partizani officials are preparing a new project, both from a sporting and infrastructural point of view.
“Partizani is starting a new era, and Florin Bratu will be the new coach of the “Red Bulls”. The club is investing heavily in the development, which will benefit from a modern stadium with natural grass and three high-standard training pitches.
The Romanian technician has reached an agreement with Partizani and is expected to sign the contract in the next period. Bratu will take over the team at a favorable moment, having all the necessary conditions to put his ideas into practice and benefiting from the support of the club management“, notes the quoted source.
At Metaloglobus, Bratu recorded two wins, five draws and three defeats, but was unable to avoid relegation.
Throughout his coaching career, the former Dinamo and Rapid striker also trained the Dinamo, Romania U18, Romania U21, CS Tunari, Aerostar Bacău, Concordia Chiajna, Karmiotissa and CS Dinamo teams.
His potential new team, Partizani, finished 5th in Albania last season and missed out on qualifying for the play-offs. In the Albanian Cup, the team was eliminated in the quarter-finals.
Partizani is one of the most successful clubs in Albania, with 17 championships, 15 Albanian Cups and three Super Cups to their name. The last championship title was won in 2023.
