The transfer of Matei Ilie (23 years old) to the Turkish team Kasimpaşa SK, 13th place in the last season is close to being realized. As last minute information, the defender from CFR Cluj has already arrived in Turkey, where he is scheduled for a medical visit, the last step before signing the contract.
As GSP.ro exclusively announced on Friday, Matei Ilie is leaving CFR Cluj. If the medical visit goes well and all the formalities go according to plan, he will initial the agreement with his new team on Sunday, and later the official presentation will take place.
Matei Ilie signs tomorrow in Turkey
The Turkish club offers him a long-term contract, valid until the summer of 2030. As for the financial details, the transfer amount is the one announced since the beginning of the negotiations, respectively 500,000 euros. With this amount, the boss Ioan Varga hopes to bring stability to the team and cover the hole in the budget.
In addition to this fixed amount, the agreement between CFR Cluj and Kasimpașa SK also includes several performance bonuses that can increase the total value of the transaction in the coming period.
These bonuses are linked to the achievement of certain objectives, and among the criteria taken into account are the winning of trophies, participation in European competitions and other performance thresholds that could be reached in the coming years.

In the winter, Matei Ilie was wanted by a team from Russia, but the offer from Samara was not considered good enough by the management of the Cluj club, and the defender remained in Gruia.
