The President of ANAF, Adrian Nica, intends to visit all the county tax administrations in the country in the next period, for discussions with the heads of the administrations, but also with the employees, regarding the collection activity, but also on the subject of the reorganization of the institution. The dissatisfaction of ANAF employees has been at high levels for several weeks because of the wage law, not because of the reorganization. After in the last 12 months the management put high pressure on the employees to maintain a high level of collection, necessary to help consolidate the state's finances, the dissatisfaction of the employees in the last weeks started to have an impact on the results of the Tax Office, as Profit.ro previously wrote.
ANAF has recently taken several measures to streamline and reorganize its activity, both because of the inefficiencies identified, but also as a result of the implementation of the institution's digitization programs.
