Farul continues to look for solutions to strengthen the team before the new season, and Ioan Ovidiu Sabău agreed with the second player of the mercato period.
The Constanta formation reached an agreement with Eddy Sylvestre (26 years old), offensive midfielder who performed last season in the second league in France.
The lighthouse brought Eddy Sylvestre
Last season, Sylvestre played for both Grenoble and Dunkerque. If in the first part of the season he had few chances and made only three appearances, the move to Dunkerque completely changed his situation.
In the second half of the championship, the Frenchman became an important part of the team's gear and collected 17 matches, managing to provide four decisive assists. The transfer to Farul was announced by Dunkerque itself, with the French club publishing a farewell message for the midfielder.
Have a nice day, Eddy! After a season under the colors of the sea, Eddy Sylvestre sets out for a new challenge at the Constanța Lighthouse. Thank you for your commitment and spirit during your time at Dunkirk and we wish you the best of luck in this new venture.

He made his debut in Ligue 1 at Nice
The new Lighthouse midfielder is a product of the Olympique Marseille and Nice academies. In 2018, he made the step up to the Nice first team and made 11 appearances for the Ligue 1 club, also managing two assists.
Later, his career took him through France, Belgium, Russia and Croatia, playing for Auxerre, Standard Liege, Pau, Grenoble and Dunkerque.
Standard Liege previously paid €110,000 for his permanent transfer.
The second player brought in from France
Sylvestre is not the only footballer recruited by Farul from the French championship in this mercato period.
The Constantinians have already obtained the signature of Tony Njike, a defensive midfielder who signed for two seasons with Sabau's team.
Njike already knows the Superliga, after his experience at FC Argeș in the 2022-2023 season.
