In Pokrovka, the site was cleared for the new building of school No. 51

In Krasnoyarsk, the demolition of the old school building No. 51 on 4th Prodolnaya Street in Pokrovka has been completed. This was reported to the city administration.

The site has already been cleared. Now it is being prepared for the construction of a modern modular building. The winner of the installation competition was the Kronos company. The cost of the contract amounted to more than 190 million rubles.

The contractor is now selecting the optimal solution for the foundation. Experts take into account the terrain and the presence of groundwater on the school grounds. Installation of the new building is scheduled to begin in mid-July. The new building is designed for 260 students. It will house an educational block, a sports block and a catering unit. The school grounds will be improved and a new sports ground will appear there.

“The work is planned to be completed by the end of July 2027, so that students can start the new school year on September 1 in modern and comfortable conditions,” said Marina Aksenova, head of the main education department.

The administration recalled that in Krasnoyarsk they are already using the practice of replacing emergency buildings with modular ones. Such facilities appeared for schools No. 86 and No. 50, and a modular gym was also built for school No. 149.
