The dismissed prime minister and the designated prime minister, face to face. When will Eugen Tomac negotiate for PNL support in Parliament

The president of the PNL, Ilie Bolojan, announced on Saturday that the party's leadership team will meet with Eugen Tomac on Monday, after which the National Political Bureau will be convened to decide on the “attitude” that the liberals will have towards the appointed prime minister, informs Agerpres.

“I set for Monday, at 11:00, the meeting of the PNL leadership with Mr. Eugen Tomac, the prime minister who was appointed. After this meeting, the National Political Bureau will be convened, which will make a decision during the next week, regarding the attitude that the PNL will take”, declared Bolojan in a press conference in Deva.

When asked about the possibility of the PNL supporting a liberal for the position of prime minister, in the event that Eugen Tomac will not succeed in passing the Parliament's vote, Ilie Bolojan mentioned that such a hypothesis has not been reached.

“If such a hypothesis is reached, the PNL leadership will make decisions accordingly. But we have not reached such a hypothesis. And after the meeting of the Political Bureau next week, you will find out what the PNL's position is on this issue”, concluded Ilie Bolojan.
