According to the National Union of the Dicasterial Judicial Registry, the measure was decided during the consultations organized for the occupational family of budgetary functions “Justice”, the unionists accusing the fact that the legislative project ignores the claims of specialized and related auxiliary personnel.

The representatives of the union claim that the current form of the law perpetuates the mechanisms that led, after the adoption of Law no. 153/2017, to capping salaries in the period 2018-2022 and to the appearance of thousands of salary disputes, enforced executions and additional costs for the state.

The trade unionists state that the specialized and related auxiliary personnel in the courts and prosecutor's offices have not benefited from real salary increases in the last ten years, the only increases being obtained through final court decisions that corrected the wrong application of the salary legislation.

“The current draft of the salary law risks leading to a new salary freeze for the next five years and the immediate resumption of a new wave of systemic litigation within the “Justice” occupational family”, send the representatives of the trade union organization.

They strongly reject the current form of the project, considering that it does not reflect the complexity and responsibility of the activity carried out by the auxiliary and related staff and that it does not respect the principles of hierarchy, equality, non-discrimination, stimulation and sustainability provided by the legislative project itself.

At the same time, the trade unionists called a new Extraordinary General Assembly for June 5, 2026, when they will decide on possible new forms of protest, depending on the conclusions of the discussions scheduled at the Ministry of Labour, Family, Youth and Social Solidarity.
