Yakubjoni Yusufzoda, a defendant in the case of the terrorist attack in Crocus, was illegally registered with the migration authorities in Sochi in 2023. Together with 52 other visitors, he was registered in the Adler region – this is how he received the right to stay in the country. Now the police officers responsible for this are being identified, and a criminal case has been opened under the article of negligence.
Yusufzody is 25 years old, born in the village of Mogien in Tajikistan. There is a wife and three children. At the time of his arrest, he was unofficially working at a construction site. According to investigators, he transferred money to one of the terrorists after the terrorist attack.
