Chelsea, Arsenal's London rivals, wanted to sting their fellow citizens after Champions League finallost to the “gunners” on penalty kicks, 3-4, after 1-1 with PSG in the 120 minutes of play.
The result registered tonight in Budapest makes approx Chelsea to remain the only London team with the Champions League in the window. The Blues at Stamford Bridge have even won the competition twice, in 2012 and 2021.
For Arsenal it was the second final, but both were lost: in 2006 with Barcelona, today with PSG.
Chelsea did not miss the chance to sting their rival following this new continental setback.

Social media users got a taste of the joke. Chelsea has racked up hundreds of thousands of likes and shares on both X, Facebook and Instagram.
