Gliwice is preparing the largest amusement park in southern Poland. We know the details

The facility, which is to have 67,000 sq m, is being built in Silesia – in Gliwice, near the Europa Centralna shopping complex. It is to be one of the few amusement parks in the country that combines the entertainment function directly with the existing commercial infrastructure.
Momentum Leisure, the owner of the Majaland parks, is responsible for the project. However, unlike the company's previous projects, the park in Gliwice will operate under a completely new brand and theme. It is also to be the company's first such large project in Poland and one of the largest facilities of this type currently being built in the country.

Global brands and entertainment for children
The new amusement park targets the segment of families with children – one of the fastest growing markets in the leisure industry. According to the authors of the project, it was designed with children aged 3-12 and their families in mind. This group is today a key target for entertainment operators, generating returning traffic and stable revenues.
The project is based on global entertainment franchises. Themes will include Nickelodeon characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants, PAW Patrol and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as the Smurfs. The concept of the park was prepared by the Amsterdam-based Leisure Expert Group, which specializes in thematic projects.

Amusement park in Gliwice – opening date
An important element of the offer will be two roller coasters from German manufacturers Zierer and Gerstlauer. One of them will partially go outside the building, which is still rare in this type of facilities in Poland.
The amusement park in Gliwice is scheduled to open in just over a year – in July 2027. Construction works have been going on for several months.

On site, you can already see the prefabricated reinforced concrete structure of the main hall and the completed foundations, which mark the key stage of the investment. Advanced work is also underway on the underground infrastructure, technical zones and communication system between future attractions.
The construction works and the installation of the facade and roof are planned to be completed in the second quarter of this year. This will allow you to move on to the next stage, i.e. interior finishing and installation of attractions.
Not only for Poles
The location at Europa Centralna is not accidental. Combining an amusement park with a large shopping complex is a model that in Western Europe effectively increases traffic and the time spent by customers in a given location.
The new Momentum Leisure investment is to be a continuation of the development strategy in Poland. Thanks to the park in Gliwice, the company will expand its operations to the border regions with Germany and the Czech Republic – a total market of over 40 million inhabitants.
