Who impressed Răzvan Lucescu at the UEFA Fantastic demonstration

Răzvan Lucescu (57 years old) sat on the Rapid bench on Thursday evening at the event UEFAntasticiliorwith FCSB, ended in a tie, score 0-0, a reissue for Romanian football, two decades away from the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup.
At the end of the confrontation on the “Arcul de Triumf”, Lucescu declared himself emotional and impressed, glad that he had the chance to see his former students again and exchange a few words.
Among the names mentioned by the coach of the Greeks from PAOK are Nae Constantin, Marius Constantin, Ionuț Stancu and Daniel Pancu, who signed a two-year contract with the Giulești team on Wednesday.
Răzvan Lucescu, about the UEFA fantastic evening: “Nae Constantin impressed me”
“I was actually moved by the fact that I saw a lot of guys I hadn't seen for a long time and they told me about their lives. For example, Marius Constantin, I haven't seen him for a very long time, Ionuț Stancu, many, I was impressed by Nae Constantin, who from a tactical point of view continues to play at a high level, Viorel, Pancone.
Of course, he was also successful as a trainer, now he is going on another path and it is a path for him at Rapid with a very big desire. He has the possibility to compact the atmosphere of Rapid, he is loved there, he loves Rapid, there is a great passion between Pancone and Rapid.
With each one I had the chance to exchange a few words, about what it was, about what it is now. Such events are very beautiful, very emotional. It was our glory period, the glory of Rapid in Europe, nothing happened after that. There is no point in any comparison, only that superb memory remains for absolutely everyone, for the breath of Romanian football, a quarter-final at that level”, said Răzvan Lucescu, of the end of the event.
Răzvan Lucescu prefaced Hagi's debut on the national team bench
The technician was invited to comment on Gheorghe Hagi's debut at the helm of the first national team.
“Hagi is a coach who has an extraordinary passion for football, a coach who loves the national team enormously, he grew up with this spirit, he was educated with this spirit, a person who invested a lot of what he earned in Romanian football, he made a club from scratch, a club that also became a champion in Romania, he will certainly transmit this positive energy.
But it will certainly not depend only on him, in football and at the national team level you also need an extraordinary conjuncture. There is no big selection base, the players who are in the sights of the national team have to play for the club teams, to establish themselves, to be in good shape. The second part depends on the opponent, if they go through a complicated period there is an extra possibility to qualify.
You can form a team in your mind and find that at the next selection, in the official matches, you lose 5-6 players, either they don't play in the club teams anymore or they get injured. That's why a much larger selection base is needed”, concluded Răzvan Lucescu.
