Sources in the paddock also disclosed some of the conditions imposed by Red Bull, which will be binding on the future owner of the Racing Bulls team. Most of the conditions were imposed in order for Red Bull to continue to generate significant amounts of money, even though they would lose the team.
The new owner will have to agree to the Racing Bulls using powertrains from Red Bull Powertrains, purchase technological solutions and components from Red Bull, within the limits allowed by the regulations and guarantee at least one place in the team for a driver from the Red Bull development program. This season Racing Bulls is 6th in the constructors' standings, and at the moment they have 21 points accumulated, ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix. Red Bull is currently 4th with 57 points. Liam Lawson is 10th in the driver standings with 16 points and Arvid Lindblad is 14th with 5 points. Lawson is higher in the standings than Isack Hadjar, Red Bull's secondary driver.
