Formula 1 management supports Zak Brown's view that there should not be two or more teams with the same owner in the World Championship. The American criticized Mercedes' attempts to acquire a 24% stake in Alpine. The opinion of the McLaren boss is also an attack on rivals Red Bull because the drinks company owns two teams in the “Grand Circus”: the factory team and the Racing Bulls.
Negotiations are currently taking place between Formula 1 and Red Bull, the aim of which is to convince Red Bull bosses to sell their second team, according to foreign media paddock sources. This is the optimal option because Formula 1 management would avoid limiting this situation with a rule.

Sources in the paddock also disclosed some of the conditions imposed by Red Bull, which will be binding on the future owner of the Racing Bulls team. Most of the conditions were imposed in order for Red Bull to continue to generate significant amounts of money, even though they would lose the team.
The new owner will have to agree to the Racing Bulls using powertrains from Red Bull Powertrains, purchase technological solutions and components from Red Bull, within the limits allowed by the regulations and guarantee at least one place in the team for a driver from the Red Bull development program. The price of Racing Bulls is about 2 billion dollars, according to sportal.bg.
This season Racing Bulls is 6th in the constructors' standings, and at the moment they have 21 points accumulated, ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix. Red Bull is currently 4th with 57 points. Liam Lawson is 10th in the driver standings with 16 points and Arvid Lindblad is 14th with 5 points. Lawson is higher in the standings than Isack Hadjar, Red Bull's secondary driver.
