Corona Brașov has officially parted ways with coach Bogdan Burcea (54 years old), who trained the team in the previous two seasons. Norwegian Bent Dahl (55) will take over the team ranked 3rd this season in the Flower League.
In the summer of 2024, Bogdan Burcea returned to the bench of Corona Brașov, where he had been active between 2013 and 2016. In the first season of this second term, Corona ranked second, under the champion CSM Bucharest. Burcea took the podium in the second season as well, but the 3rd place, this time under the champion Gloria Bistrița and CSM Bucharest.
Burcea will move to Dunărea Brăila, and Corona will be trained by Bent Dahl, the agreement with the Norwegian coach being announced already in January.

Corona Brașov announced that together with Burcea, the goalkeeping coach, Eugen Ciulei, and the video analyst Adrian Ghiurluc will also leave.
“Under the leadership of Bogdan Burcea, the team grew, fought and won: 3rd place in the Romanian Supercup in 2025, the silver medal in 2025 and the bronze medal in 2026 in the MOL Flower League. Results that remain in the history of the club.

In the 2026/2027 season, Corona will be trained by Bent Dahl. His staff will also include Bo Rudgaard as “second” and Paula Ungureanu as goalkeeper coach.
