Valeriu Stoica: “If it capitalizes on this chance it has today, the PNL could once again become the party that Romania needs”

The former president of PNL Valeriu Stoica claims that the party needs a deep resettlement, starting with “redefining political identity” and continuing to strengthen structures and leadership, both locally and nationally.
Valeriu Stoica believes that such a process would be the liberals' chance to become “the party that Romania had and needs”.
Speaking at a debate organized on the occasion of the 151st anniversary of the founding of the PNL, Stoica described the international context as a world that “he resettles” and in which two major orientations are outlined: “the culture of freedom” and “culture of domination”.
In this framework, he says, the PNL could reaffirm its historical role, provided it lucidly assumes the moment and rethinks its positioning.
Stoics spoke of the necessity of a “doctrinal clarifications” and of “consolidation of culture organizational”but also about the clearer definition of the political strategy for the next period.

The former president of the PNL recalled that, over time, “Pthe National Liberal party has done its duty”, suggesting that the party can use this historical capital to rebuild itself.
Another central point of his message concerned internal organization and human resources.
“The PNL needs strong local and central structures. It needs strong, clairvoyant local and national leaders. If it capitalizes on this chance that the PNL has today, it might become again, I'm not saying it will become again, it might become the party Romania needs againValeriu Stoica also declared.
