❗️A massive failure of the Windows operating system has hampered the functioning of companies in the banking, airline, media and several other industries.
The reason was a critical error when loading devices running on this OS, known as a blue screen of death (BSOD), reported the American portal The Verge.
The glitch has caused chaos at airports around the world: check-in counters are unavailable and display an “error” screen, passengers are unable to claim luggage;
— British Sky News stopped broadcasting due to cyberspace disruptions. The media also report disruption of the London Stock Exchange;
— In the USA, “blue screens of death” began to appear on PCs in police departments, prison administrations and medical institutions;
— Indian airline SpiceJet reported about technical problems that affect online services, including booking and check-in for flights.
