Fire in Bucharest. A RO-Alert message has been issued

Firefighters intervened on Sunday night to extinguish a fire that broke out at several buildings in Sector 5 of the capital, according to News.ro.
“We are intervening to extinguish a fire at several adjoining buildings, on Pereni street, sector 5, Bucharest. When the first crews arrived, the fire manifested itself with an open flame and large releases of smoke at the level of several adjoining buildings, on an area of approximately 150 square meters”, initially announced the representatives of ISU Bucharest-Ilfov.
Due to the weather conditions, as well as the layout of the buildings, the fire spread quickly, reaching the level of a block of attached houses, with different height regimes, on a total area of approximately 800 square meters.
Considering the very large smoke releases, a RO-Alert message was sent to warn people in the area.
The fire was contained by dawn. No victims have been identified.
Firefighters intervened with 14 water and foam firefighting vehicles, 6 firefighting vehicles (tanks), an intervention and rescue vehicle from height, an extrication vehicle and a SMURD crew.
