Additional financial support for seniors is very important in times of rising living costs. For some people who have reached retirement age, Świnoujście has prepared a special voucher that can help pay, for example, medicines or electricity bills.
As “Gazeta Prawna” explains, the Wyspiarza Seniora Bon program is real help for older residents of Świnoujście, who can receive PLN 400 regardless of their income. Withdrawing funds can significantly relieve the household budget, especially before the holidays.
Islander Senior Voucher 2026. Who will receive PLN 400 and how to apply?
The program is addressed to people who are over 65 years old, live in Świnoujście and can document at least 5 years of continuous residence in the city. Officials emphasize that registration alone is not enough – what matters is the actual place of residence, which must be properly confirmed.
As “Gazeta Prawna” explains, formally applications can be submitted from March, but the deadline is May 29, 2026. After this date, the current edition of the program will be closed and it will no longer be possible to obtain support. Therefore, it is worth not delaying in completing the formalities.

This year, the amount of the voucher was increased from PLN 350 to PLN 400. The benefit is transferred only by bank transfer. The city announces that payments will be made within a maximum of three months from the acceptance of the application.

From 2026, a plastic pensioner ID card is issued only upon an application to be submitted to ZUS or KRUS. However, even if you do not have a physical ID card, you can benefit from privileges. Each eligible person has an electronic document automatically issued.
