A center has been created in Krasnoyarsk to work with citizens’ requests on social networks

A Municipal Control Center has been created in Krasnoyarsk. The resolution on this was signed by Mayor Sergei Vereshchagin.
The document reports that the city control center will coordinate the interaction of the administration with Krasnoyarsk residents through social networks and instant messengers. The main goal is to improve the work with residents’ requests in order to improve the dialogue between people and officials.
The ICU will be headed by the deputy head of Krasnoyarsk – head of the information policy department Svetlana Skripalshchikova. The composition will include heads of departments of the mayor's office and heads of city districts.
“The Krasnoyarsk administration is actively working with requests that residents leave on social networks. They become a guideline for making many management decisions. This approach is one of the priorities of city mayor Sergei Vereshchagin. Currently, almost all municipal institutions have their own accounts on social networks. For example, on the VKontakte social network alone there are almost 450 pages with a total number of subscribers of more than 900 thousand. Every day we receive almost 100 requests from Krasnoyarsk residents on municipal social networks,” the mayor’s office said.
Note that the Krasnoyarsk city ICU is similar to the regional SDGs. The main task of these centers is to monitor and process citizens’ requests and other information on social networks, as well as transfer requests to relevant departments and feedback from applicants.
