“Thank you, Romania!” President Zelenski's wife's message after the meeting with Mirabela Grădinaru, President Nicușor Dan's partner

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski's wife, Olena, who accompanied him to Bucharest and had a meeting with President Nicusor Dan's partner, Mirabela Grădinaru, thanked Romania and the Romanians for the help they gave to Ukraine since the first days of the war. She referred to humanitarian aid, but also to support for education and culture in Ukraine, informs News.ro.
Olena Zelenska, who is visiting Romania with the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenski, reports, on Wednesday, on Facebook, that she met the partner of president Nicusor Dan, Mirabela Grădinaru, in March, on the sidelines of the “Shaping the Future Together” summit, organized by Melania Trump in Washington.
On Wednesday, the two met again in Bucharest, having a common program, while the presidents of Romania and Ukraine participated in the B9 Summit.
“We are grateful to this country and its people for the consistent support given to Ukraine since the first day of the Russian invasion. A special area is humanitarian aid. Romania, for example, provided water purification systems after the Russians destroyed the Kahovka dam, joined the Warmth for Ukraine initiative in this difficult winter and contributed to the Olena Zelenska Foundation in the project to equip students with distance learning devices. Thank you, Romania!”, he wrote in post the wife of the Ukrainian president.

Olena Zelenska also reported that Romania supports the Ukrainian language and culture and the desire to make them known in the world.
“Bucharest is one of the 119 locations in 59 countries where audio guides already operate in Ukrainian, as part of our project to Ukrainize the world's main cultural monuments and objectives. Such a guide is also available at the “Grigore Antipa” Museum, considered one of the five most beautiful natural history museums in Europe. From 2022 until now, access to this museum is free for Ukrainians,” stated Zelenska.
According to her, thanks to the “Ukrainian Bookshelf” project, several such shelves are already operating in the country's libraries.
“All the more pleasant is the fact that today Romania will become the 27th country whose universities join the Global Coalition for Ukrainian Studies – a state initiative dedicated to the academic study of Ukraine and everything related to Ukrainian culture. Together with Mrs. Mirabela, we will participate in the signing of the corresponding memorandums with the universities of Bucharest, Cluj and Suceava”, announced the wife of the Ukrainian president.
Olena Zelenska announces that she has invited Mirabela Grădinaru to Kiev, to the sixth edition of the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen.
“Every time we choose for discussions the most important topics for our societies: security, education, mental health, and then we do everything possible to turn them into concrete and useful results for our people. We will be happy to collaborate with Romania in this field as well”, added Olena Zelenska.
Olena Zelenska and Mirabela Grădinaru met, on Wednesday, at 3:00 p.m., at the Cotroceni Palace.
