Over the past three-day weekend in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, traffic police inspectors detained 189 drunk drivers.

Among the violators were 10 motorists who had previously been brought to administrative responsibility for drunk driving.

The police also suspended 23 drivers from driving vehicles who allowed themselves to get behind the wheel without a license and while intoxicated.

“Administrative materials have been drawn up against the offenders; now those who drink and drive will face a fine of 45 thousand rubles, as well as deprivation of rights for up to 2 years. Drivers will face criminal liability for repeated driving while intoxicated,” the traffic police said.
