In the 36th minute, “Motoreta” Adrian Popa managed an exceptional execution, restoring the tie. The midfielder from Bucharest shot unstoppable from a long distance, and the ball went straight into the net, without any chance for the home goalkeeper. A goal of great days, signed by one of the veterans of the “military”.
For Popa, the success comes after a long drought. His last goal was scored on October 5, 2024, in a duel with CSM Slatina, and since 2023 he hasn't had any more appearances in which to tick off complete 90-minute matches.
