This model is part of the Daytona collection, launched in 1963. The Rainbow version is a limited edition, characterized by the use of precious stones. The dial is decorated with 36 baguette-cut sapphires arranged in a rainbow gradient.

Messi has other rare models in his collection. One of them is, for example, the Rolex Daytona Cosmograph Barbie, of which only ten copies were produced in the world.
This 18-karat gold masterpiece, with a distinctive pink dial, pink sapphire hour markers and a case encrusted with brilliant diamonds, was not officially promoted by Rolex, however, according to The Sun.
Instead, Rolex contacted several celebrities directly, who reportedly paid around 360 thousand euros for it.
