Zoltan Szondi, president of Csikszereda, commented victory with FCSB, 1-0 in the opening of the 7th stage of the Superleague play-out.

The result was commented by the president of the club. Zoltan Szondi admits that he feared that FCSB would score and would have settled for an equaliser.

“There are two games left, we try to take them as seriously as we can and hope to achieve our goal.
I was afraid they would score, yes. We had very clear opportunities, but FCSB, one of the most valuable teams in Romania, put extraordinary pressure on us. They didn't have great chances, only a few, but they put constant pressure.
To be honest, I would have been satisfied with even. I can't say that the victory is undeserved, everyone fought, put the bone. I congratulate the boys on this path.

Zoltan Szondi: “Conference League playoff? I don't think we'll get there at the moment”
Then asked if he was thinking about the Conference League play-off, with Csikszereda now only one point behind FC Botoșani, Szondi denied:
“No. I got the license because if we have a chance we don't kick them, but I don't think we'll get there at the moment. Don't get me wrong, we're not giving up, but FCSB are the best team in the play-out, they don't compare to the others.”
