The strike hit a transport workshop near the territory of the nuclear power plant, killing the driver.
The IAEA stated that they were informed about this from the Zaporozhye NPP.
Director General Rafael Grossi stressed that attacks on or near the power plant could threaten nuclear safety and should not happen.
An IAEA team on the spot is investigating the incident and will monitor the situation, the agency added.
