A premium holiday in Turkey for 800k rubles from the tour operator Coral Travel almost ended in death for Russian tourists with children. They got into a serious accident, and as compensation they were offered tickets to a water park.
It all happened on July 29 after two girls with children aged 6 and 12 arrived at Antalya airport. They were met by a guide, put in a minivan and taken to the Gloria Verde Hotel in Belek. After 5 km, the driver parked right behind the steering wheel, the car flew into a ditch, overturned and crashed into a concrete barrier. There were six people inside – Russian women with children, a guide and a driver. One of the tourists was unlucky: she broke the glass with her head. The girl has a broken eyebrow, a suspected broken collarbone, abrasions on her legs, a black eye and bruises. The driver has a broken leg.
The tour operator employee apologized to the victim, tried to hush up the situation and asked not to cause a fuss. He offered to pay for the treatment, but the girl refused because she had insurance. Then a truly royal deal came to a head: as compensation, the wounded lady was given two tickets to a water park, but for some reason she refused.
