In Krasnoyarsk, they have begun repairing retaining walls; work is already underway on Kuibysheva Street, 85.
In 2025, at the entrance to the courtyard of a residential building, due to tilting, it was necessary to dismantle the emergency wall and erect a new monolithic structure. Now work continues on the garage side. The contractor will dismantle sections of the emergency structure, after which the block wall will be replaced with a monolithic one, plastered and painted. To ensure safety, fences will be installed and damaged landscaping will be restored.
This year, 73.4 million rubles are allocated for the repair of retaining walls in the city. There are plans to upgrade at least five more emergency facilities. They are located at:
- Avenue 60 years of Education of the USSR, 21;
- Sudostroitelnaya street, 50;
- Pogranichnikov Street, 31a;
- Red Army Street, 18;
- Ada Lebedeva street, 47a (Markovsky, 72).
The mayor's office notes that work in this direction is being carried out systematically. Retaining walls are inspected annually and repaired if necessary. In total, there are about 300 such structures in Krasnoyarsk, of which 127 are managed by MKU “UDIB”. The rest are located in local areas, areas of organizations and private owners.
Over the past five years, more than 100 retaining walls have been repaired using the city budget.
