The sports director of InterPiero Ausilio, reacted after the information appeared in the Spanish press, according to which the defender Alessandro Bastoni (27 years old) would represent Barcelona's main transfer target for strengthening the defense this summer.
The official of the Italians also sent a direct message to the management at the “Camp Nou”, inviting them to get in touch with the club if the interest is concrete.

The Nerazzurri official also commented on the information related to the club's interest in Marco Palestra, the new Italian international who is impressing this season at Cagliari, where he is on loan from Atalanta.
“He is a very valuable player who would suit many teams. But at the moment he belongs to a strong club with a clear project, like Atalanta. I am convinced that it will become important there first, and then everything will depend on the evolution of the market and its path.
