BREAKING Strait of Hormuz is 'closed' again, Iranian state media reports

The press in Tehran announced on Saturday that the military will take “strict control” of the Strait of Hormuz in response to the continuation of the US blockade on Iranian ports, reversing a decision taken a day before to reopen this sea route essential for world oil trade, AFP and Sky News reported.
Iran “had agreed in good faith to authorize the passage of a limited number of oil tankers and commercial ships”, but the Americans, in violation of their commitment, “continue to engage in acts of piracy under the pretext of the so-called blockade”, denounced the command of the Iranian Armed Forces Khatam Al-Anbiya in a statement broadcast on state television.
“For this reason, control over the Strait of Hormuz has returned to its previous state, and this strategic passage is now under the strict control” of Iran, it added.
