In a dialogue with Gazeta Sporturilor, Sabin Ilie criticized the gesture made by Alexandru Dobre at the end of the match with FC Argeș.

“In Europe, you will never see any player going to the press and saying that he doesn't like what the coach is doing. He used to go to Gâlcă and tell him, privately, that he can't play there. That's how I see things.
You are not allowed to declare such a thing. Then Gâlcă should leave, and Dobre should be coach and player, like in the Davis Cup. The good footballer is constant, match by match. You are not allowed to do that.
Maybe it happens and you miss three times with the goalkeeper and you don't score, what do you do? Then you have no more excuses. the players must mind their own business,” said Sabin Ilie for Gazeta Sporturilor.
I prepare every week, I try to do my best. Probably the tactic does not make me play 100% on my qualities, as I did at the beginning, that's why the performance is weaker than usual. But it's the coach's decision and I have to respect his tactics
